☝️ Guilty.

I’m a senior editor for digital storytelling and training at The New York Times. I specialize in telling all types of stories through data and graphics. You can read more about what I do here and see materials I’ve open-sourced here. 💻 I’m lucky enough to work every day with reporters on projects like these.

I do data reporting and a story I worked on even won a Pulitzer Prize. 😱😱😱 I’ve spent 2020 embedded with the Metro desk working on our Coronavirus coverage. And now I help bring you those anxiety-inducing maps — sorry, not sorry?

Before The Times, I worked at U.S. News & World Report as the data editor for news and as a project/product manager. I designed data-driven experiences, wrote investigative stories and made interactive graphics. I led our data and graphics coverage of the 2016 presidential election.

I graduated from The University of Georgia 🐶, where I studied journalism and computer science and worked at The Red & Black. 📰 In 2020, I won the John E. Drewry Young Alumni Award.
